The Arrowhead Golf Course terrain varies from flat to hilly and its greens are fast. Water hazards come into play on five holes. The signature hole is number 8, a 371 yard par 4, requiring an approach shot over water. Another signature holes is the 16th, a 371 yard par 4 which demands carrying the ball over a valley and steep side hill to a severely elevated green. Putting difficulty comes into play with a green that slopes three feet 10 inches from the right rear to left front of the green.
With the tricky greens at Arrowhead Golf Course, having a putter that can be customized to the course conditions is a big help. The Closer Weighted putter from www.scientificgolfclubs.com has three movable weights and nine placement holes that allow you to choose the exact balance for your stroke and the perfect weighting for fast and slow greens. You can set the putter to avoid pulls by moving the weights toward the toe and avoid pushes by moving them toward the heel. If you're playing a fast green at the Arrowhead Golf Course, you can remove one, two or all three weights to lighten the putter, or leave them in for slow or normal greens.
The Closer Weighted putter also has a computer-controlled milled face for smooth, accurate putts and red and white sighting lines to help you hit every putt with straight-to-the-pin accuracy.
