The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, OR features the Pacific Dunes course, the Tom Doak design that is highly acclaimed as one of the most renowned golf courses in the U.S. The Pacific Dunes course, set on the rugged coastline of southern Oregon, features rippling fairways, natural bunkers and splendid pines. The par 71 Pacific Dunes course plays at 6,633 yards from the backs, with some vivid winds that demand precise approach shots on a rugged course that tests every facet of your game.
The Pacific Dunes course resembles a British Isles links course, with rolling hills, lumpy fairways, perched greens and blow out bunkers. You'll be challenged on every hole, from the 1st, a 304 yard par 4 with a wide mounded fairway to the 18th, a 591 yard par 5 that's the longest hole on the Pacific Dunes course, with a sloping fairway, enormous bunker and a bowl shaped green.

There's back to back par 3s to start the second nine, including the 206 yard 10th, with thick rough and mounding to the left side of the green and the 148 yard 11th, with a green surrounded by native beach grass, bunkers and gorse.
One golfer who played the Pacific Dunes course called it "the most stunning golf course I have ever played," with holes on the Pacific Ocean and deer running all over the course.
