Robert Trent Jones, Jr.'s Princeville Golf Course on the island of Kauai is one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in America. The course offers magnificent views 300 feet above the Pacific and a links style course that demands your best shots. The par 72 layout at the Princeville Golf Course plays at 7,309 yards from the tips with five tee boxes to accommodate all levels of play. But even the shorter tees play into the tight fairways and small greens with trade winds blowing in from the ocean that make every shot a challenge.
The course begins with a 448 yard par 4 with a downhill drive to a bottlenecked fairway with hazards in front and to the sides of the green. One of the signature holes is the 7th a 205 yard par 3 that carries over a canyon with trade winds blowing in from the ocean.

The small green is guarded by bunkers to the right, rear and left. The 11th is another dramatic par 3, a 187 hole from an elevated tee that provides one of the most difficult tee shots you'll encounter anywhere. The 18th at the Princeville Golf Course is a long 455 yard par 4 that doglegs to the right with bunkers and grassy dunes on the fairway. It's handicapped as the toughest hole on the course and may be the toughest finishing hole on any course in the country.
