TAYLOR MADE GOLF
TAYLOR MADE GOLF BURNERS VS. NGC GOLF'S
CONTROLLER DRIVER
By Ken Liebeskind
Yalesville, Connecticut
Taylor made golf equipment launched in 1979 with the Taylor made metal wood and in 1984 Lee Trevino used the metal wood to win the PGA championship. Taylor made golf irons and putters also became popular and the company is now the second largest manufacturer of golf equipment in the U.S.
Taylor made golf drivers continue to be the company's biggest sellers with the Burner driver at the top of the list. There are men's and women's Burners.

The men's Burner Super Fast Driver is extra long at 46.5 inches but weighs only 284 grams with an aerodynamic head shape that promotes speed and power and dual crown technology for higher flight. The light weight generates faster club head speed with a larger clubface that is easier to hit.
The Lady's Burner Super Fast Driver is also lighter and longer with a 460cc head. Both the men's and women's Taylor made golf drivers are available in different lofts.
A 460cc driver with an added advantage is the Controller driver from www.scientificgolfclubs.com that's coated with a metal developed by the Department of Defense for missiles that is twice as hard as steel and 70 percent harder than titanium. Put it on a driver and the ball really flies! Average golfers report increased distances of 40 yards, while a long ball champ claims it's the best driver he's used in more than 20 years of bashing long distance drives. The Controller driver features a 45 1/2", 69 gram high-fiber graphite shaft that's easy to swing.
